I have a unique talent where ordinary tasks transform into thrilling adventures worthy of a Netflix series. It's not intentional, I assure you! While I strive to follow the rules, life seems to present me with opportunities to create abstract chaos masterpieces on its canvas. That's just the way I navigate through life!
Music is my lifeblood. From Bach to Snoop, I love it all. Music doesn't just make me happy; it's practically a spiritual experience. Attending the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert with Kendall in March 2024 was an unforgettable experience that still moves me to tears when I reminisce about it.
My son, Sam, is my rock. He's wise beyond his 10 years and keeps me grounded. He sees the world with this incredible clarity and compassion that I can only aspire to. Honestly, I don't deserve him. He's a gift I didn't earn but cherish every single day.
I love the city of Macon, especially when it comes to our rich music history. I love dragging Sam to Rose Hill Cemetery to visit the graves of music legends. It was on one of these trips that I met the man behind the roses.
He isn't just a caretaker of a famous plot—he's a tribute to the musicians who were like brothers to him. He does what he does at Rose Hill not for fame, but for his chosen brothers Tommy, Scott, Pete, and Bill. These guys were the original members of a band named Cowboy. For him, it's about honoring the souls of his brothers and their friends. They all inspired each other and made music that transcended the ordinary.
I'm excited to get to know my new friend and hear his stories about these incredible individuals. I have a feeling he's got some amazing tales to tell.
